This position ensures that revenue generation activities are data-informed, well-planned, effectively executed, and accurately tracked for measurable impact and return on investment.

What You’ll Do

As a strategic thought partner to the department's leadership, the Senior Director leads planning processes, manages departmental and interdepartmental special projects, oversees core business operations, supports departmental staff cohesion and morale, and ensures the successful implementation of key systems and platforms, including Salesforce and other digital tools. The role also ensures donor and funder stewardship and contributes to strategic decision-making across the Advancement Division.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, project planning, technological and data fluency, and a passion for excellence, with a proven ability to translate insights into action and drive outcomes.

  • Lead annual and long-term strategic planning processes for the Resource Development Department.
  • Track and analyze the revenue generation pipeline for trend analysis and advancement strategy
  • Design and manage systems for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), donor impact, and ROI on fundraising activities.
  • Serve as the department's lead administrator for Salesforce; coordinate with Business Systems to ensure data integrity and platform optimization for revenue generation and stewardship.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of special and annual projects, including CRM-related initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional planning efforts.
  • Lead the design and delivery of data and narrative reports for funder and donor stewardship, executive leadership, and the board of directors. Ensure timely, accurate, compelling reports communicating outcomes and impact.
  • Oversee the development of standard operating procedures for tracking donor and funder engagement.
  • Supervise administrative and operations staff and grant management staff within the Resource Development Department.

Attributes for Success

  • Project management experience and demonstrated ability to manage planning and implementation.
  • Expertise in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and project and/or task management platforms.
  • Ability to effectively and proactively coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, funders, partners, and colleagues both within the department and cross-departmentally
  • Proven ability to identify, collect, report, and analyze key performance indicators and accomplishments
  • Ability to explain and display data, processes, policies, and other information clearly and simply, verbally and in writing
  • We’re recruiting for mission-driven, passionate, equity-minded individuals with a strong desire to impact and change people’s lives for the better
  • Our work holds great weight and responsibility, and the opportunity to impact the lives of millions
  • Innovation, creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship are encouraged as employees work to achieve organizational goals
