The role also emphasizes talent development, coaching, and the adoption of emerging analytics technologies to support continuous improvement and operational excellence within a dynamic business environment.

About the team:

The Senior Director, Advanced Analytics leads a strategic team focused on optimizing inventory flow from suppliers into Walmart’s supply chain. This team drives innovation through advanced analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance network efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Technology, and Data Science, the team transforms complex challenges into scalable solutions. Emphasizing project management and thought leadership, the group continuously advances predictive analytics and automation capabilities to ensure precise, timely inventory movement, supporting Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and measurable business outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 6 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 8 years' experience in data analytics or related field.
• 6 years' supervisory experience OR experience leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cluster analysis techniques, simulation, inferential statistics, neural networks, or data mining techniques
• Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Information Systems, Masters: Statistics
