Responsible for directing the development and implementation of sophisticated algorithms, the position ensures alignment with organizational priorities while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. The role also emphasizes talent development, coaching, and the adoption of emerging analytics technologies to support continuous improvement and operational excellence within a dynamic business environment.

The Senior Director, Advanced Analytics leads a strategic team focused on optimizing inventory flow from suppliers into Walmart’s supply chain. This team drives innovation through advanced analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance network efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Technology, and Data Science, the team transforms complex challenges into scalable solutions. Emphasizing project management and thought leadership, the group continuously advances predictive analytics and automation capabilities to ensure precise, timely inventory movement, supporting Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and measurable business outcomes.
