Job summary

The role oversees statewide adolescent health programs, supports sources of strength suicide prevention, Screenagers Under the Influence rollout, and TNGen activities, while coordinating youth engagement and reporting to TDH leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adolescent development and public health best practices.
• Experience leading statewide health initiatives.
• Ability to develop strategic plans and translate priorities into measurable actions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with grant management and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of Tennessee's Adolescent Health Strategic Plan.
• Provide statewide leadership for adolescent health initiatives.
• Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate adolescent health programs.
• Coordinate Sources of Strength suicide prevention program.
• Lead statewide Screenagers: Under the Influence implementation.
• Support Tennessee Generations (TNGen) activities and federal reporting.
• Coordinate advisory groups and youth engagement strategies.
• Represent TDH on committees and collaboratives.
