Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Sr. Director, Accounting to lead equity and intercompany accounting, and to helm the shared services function including AP and payroll.

This role requires deep GAAP knowledge, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering process improvements in a data center or capital-intensive environment. The position is based in Denver, CO, with at least three days in the office, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a data center, real estate, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industry.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, equity accounting, and consolidation across multi-entity structures.
• Proven experience leading shared services functions and driving accounting process improvements.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Equity Accounting: Oversee all equity-related accounting and work closely with private equity partners.
• Intercompany Accounting: Lead intercompany accounting across multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate transaction recording and reconciliations.
• Shared Services: Oversee Accounts Payable and Payroll, drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Leadership & Strategy: Build and lead a high-performing accounting team and ensure SOX compliance.
