Senior Director Account Management - Remote

Job Title: Senior Director Account Management - Remote

Job Description: The Sr Director of Account Management provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of account executives, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to align and execute on Prime's and clients' priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the account management team; serve as escalation point for client issues.
  • Establish performance monitoring processes; develop SOPs and reporting for operational efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams; maximize client satisfaction and contract renewals.
  • Collaborate on Go-To-Market strategies and maintain communication to monitor performance and drive improvements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing, and participate in RFPs and project implementations.
  • Manage the account portfolio, aligning resources to support strategic goals.
  • Facilitate strategic client discussions to identify growth opportunities.
  • Oversee budgets, revenue goals, staffing, and team development; support and coach team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Administration, PharmD, or related; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 8+ years in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management client services, preferably Medicaid.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the PBM industry and related areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven leadership in building team culture and strategic planning.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and develop solutions.
  • Effective in matrixed environments; leadership across departments.
  • Experience leading process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree.

Physical Demands:

  • Travel up to 30%; outside normal hours as needed.
  • Sit, use hands, talk, hear; reach; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch; lift up to 25 lbs.; specific vision abilities required.
