Job Description

The Senior Director of Account Management provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of account executives, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. This role collaborates across functions to align and execute on Prime's and clients' priorities.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the account executive team; serve as escalation point for issue resolution.
  2. Develop processes and metrics to monitor performance and improve service delivery.
  3. Maintain relationships with clients and internal teams; foster a consultative, service-oriented partnership to maximize satisfaction and growth.
  4. Collaborate on Go-To-Market strategies and maintain communication to monitor performance and drive improvements.
  5. Lead contract negotiations and participate in proposals and project implementations.
  6. Manage the account portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment and client retention.
  7. Facilitate strategic discussions and growth initiatives with clients.
  8. Oversee budgets, staffing, and team development; support employee relations and client interactions.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Administration, PharmD, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management client services, preferably Medicaid.
  • 5+ years in leadership/people management.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the PBM industry and related areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize compliance, business goals, and initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Proven leadership in team building, strategic planning, and client retention.
  • Competency in managing complex information and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Experience leading process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Travel up to 30%; work outside standard hours as needed.
  • Physical abilities include sitting, handling, talking, hearing, reaching, standing, walking, stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds, and visual acuity.
