Job summary

Compass Group USA's Foodbuy division in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Director, Account Management to lead a high-growth team focused on procurement optimization and client stewardship.

You will drive upsell, onboard new clients, manage C-suite relationships, and expand account revenue by executing strategic plans that align with clients' goals. Travel up to 15% expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain, category, finance, or related field; supplier management experience preferred.
• Strong negotiations experience
• Presentation Experience
• Ability to extract insights from complex data sets using advanced excel skills.
• Ability to influence through direct and indirect teams.
• Knowledge / Experience of budgets and forecasting
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Up to 15% Travel Annually

Job Summary

The primary duty of this position is managing a team that is focused on procurement optimization. Duties include leading a growing team that is focused on upselling and retention within our existing customer base, onboarding new clients, managing C-suite level customer relationships, maximizing account growth by leading and executing strategic vision of assigned accounts, assist with new business development and building strategies to help customers achieve their goals and the team meet their targets.

Responsibility:

• Identify revenue opportunities within each account (i.e. Product, Channel, Region, etc.), and quantify therevenue potential
• Successfully onboard new clients positioned for growth through program participation and purchasing optimization.
• Build and maintain client relationships to maximize retention and contract renewals.
• Partner with senior Conterra leadership to coordinate Advisor Board activities that enhance the overall Conterra and Foodbuy programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain, category, finance, or related field; supplier managementexperience preferred.
