An organization is seeking a senior hedge fund and private credit consulting professional to lead advisory engagements focused on investment operations, fund accounting technology, and operating model transformation. This role will serve as a primary subject matter expert across hedge fund and private credit operations, administrator relationships, and technology platforms, with direct responsibility for client delivery, methodology development, and practice growth.

This role offers the opportunity to help build and scale a specialized advisory capability focused on hedge fund and private credit operations, technology transformation, and fund accounting platforms. The position combines client leadership, hands‑on platform expertise, business development, and practice‑building responsibilities in a growing consulting environment.

Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Engagement Leadership

• Lead end‑to‑end consulting engagements for hedge fund and private credit clients.
• Advise clients on system selection, platform implementation, and operating model transformation.
• Work directly with senior client stakeholders across operations, finance, and executive leadership.
• Own client delivery from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation and go‑live.
• Serve as the delivery lead for Geneva implementations, upgrades, and integration workstreams.
• Advise on Geneva configuration, workflow design, chart of accounts set‑up, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Identify implementation risks, define remediation plans, and guide clients through platform adoption.
• Support integration planning across accounting, data, reporting, and operational systems.

Middle‑and Back‑Office Operations

• Advise clients on operating model design across NAV production, shadow accounting, prime brokerage reconciliation, and investor reporting.
• Evaluate operational workflows across hedge fund and private credit environments.
• Recommend process improvements that support scalability, accuracy, and control.
• Support complex fund operations across multi‑asset and alternative investment strategies.
• Assess hedge fund and private credit technology environments across order management, treasury, accounting, data, and investor reporting platforms.
• Recommend technology roadmaps aligned to operating model goals and business requirements.
• Support system selection, vendor evaluation, and platform integration planning.
• Help clients improve data flows, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.

Practice Development & Business Growth

• Support business development through proposal creation, client presentations, and relationship expansion.
• Build reusable consulting assets, delivery methodologies, toolkits, templates, and knowledge materials.
• Help develop junior consulting talent and scale internal delivery capability.
• Collaborate with adjacent investment operations practices to support multi‑strategy and hybrid fund clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in hedge fund operations, credit operations, fund administration, or hedge fund‑focused consulting.
• Deep hands‑on experience implementing, upgrading, or supporting SS&C Advent Geneva.
• Strong Geneva experience including chart of accounts design, workflow configuration, reconciliation set‑up, and reporting build‑out.
• Strong command of hedge fund middle‑and back‑office operations.
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle, prime brokerage operations, NAV production, shadow accounting, and multi‑asset class accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements independently.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships across operations, finance, and executive teams.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund technology platforms including OMS/EMS, treasury systems, data warehouses, and investor portal solutions.
• Experience working at or with hedge fund administrators or prime brokerage operations teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.

Required Skills

• Experience with platforms such as EZE, Finbourne, Arcesium, WSO, Allvue, Broadridge, Clearwater, Bloomberg AIM, Enfusion, Flextrade, or comparable systems.
• Prior consulting or advisory experience.
• Ability to structure complex problems, build client‑ready deliverables, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Exposure to complex fund structures, including multi‑strategy, credit, quantitative, or hybrid private equity/hedge fund vehicles.
• CPA, CFA, CAIA, or other relevant industry credential.
• Experience developing consulting methodologies, proposal templates, delivery toolkits, or internal knowledge assets.
