Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group seeks a Dining Room Lead to ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. You will supervise dining room personnel to provide timely and courteous service to residents and guests.

The role requires overseeing staffing, reservations, guest greetings, and resolution of complaints, with a focus on continuous improvement and impeccable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply good judgment and carry out instructions; handle problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling staff.
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services.
• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
• Handle and fix all complaints to insure a great dining experience for residents and guests.
• Assigns tasks and coordinates activities to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Inspects dining room stations for neatness and cleanliness.
• Inventories table linens and other dining supplies.
• Work toward continual improvement of the organization.
