Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Iowa is seeking a Dining Room Server to assist with serving meals and beverages, bussing tables, and keeping the dining area clean. You will interact with residents and help ensure a warm, welcoming dining experience.

You will take orders, use the POS system, inform residents of the day’s menu, and attend to drink service, water, and table setup. This role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and dependable attendance with benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout all aspects of the dining experience.
• Take all orders and close out orders within the POS system.
• Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals.
• Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.
• Inform residents what foods are available on the day’s menu.
• Address residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes.
• Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.
• Keep water glasses and coffee cups and/or carafes filled.
• Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished.
• Vacuum carpet in the dining room after each meal.
