Job summary

Provision Living, LLC is seeking a Cook for PRN hours to support the Executive Chef and Dining Manager in providing high-quality food for residents. You will prepare meals, assist with service, and help maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

Responsibilities include cooking, baking, following recipes, adhering to sanitation standards, assisting with catering and events, and keeping accurate food handling and inventory records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but will consider work/life experiences.
• 2-4 years of experience in cooking.
• Knowledge of baking, sauté, fry, sauces and cold prep.
• Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients precisely.
• Understanding and practice of proper food handling techniques.
• Current ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Cook and bake as part of daily operations.
• Help with serving meals, drinks and maintaining a clean area.
• Support catering, room service and special events.
• Take drink and food orders and assist with service.
• Sanitize and bus tables; maintain inventories and control food costs.
• Follow dining service policies and assist with marketing procedures.
• Maintain awareness of resident dining needs and safety requirements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
