Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18, ability to read/write/speak English, knowledge of dietary techniques, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals, desserts and snacks in accordance with the posted menu schedule; follows special diets and dietary concerns.
• Serves meals that are palatable and presentable.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, sanitized, may wash pots and pans.
• Maintains health code requirements for food and beverage storage and temperature; maintains documentation
• Estimates and prepares food supplies to meet serving portions.
• Maintains a safe, clean and respectable work environment.
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
