The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to food safety regulations, and collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure nourishing, appealing meals for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification and allergen training required.
• Knowledge of food service laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, explain menu and daily specials.
• Take meal orders from residents and guests.
• Record resident preferences and collaborate with kitchen leadership.
• Print meal production sheets and daily tickets.
• Update daily menu for dining rooms.
• Assist with serving meals and ensure portions follow policies.
