• Is prompt and reliable in coming to work.
• Reads production orders on coded menu cards on trays to determine items.
• Apportions and places food on plates and trays according to diet lists.
• Relays orders to the kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Observes diners to anticipate needs and responds to requests.
• Prepares eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays.
• Records amounts and types of special items served.
• Clears and resets counters or tables after each course.
• Maintains assigned station and assists residents to dining area if required.
• Delivers prompt and courteous service.
• Attends meetings and trainings; stays current on duties.
• Washes and puts away dishes as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
