Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Principal Engineer, Digital Twin Assurance, to lead the development of a capabilities within the Modeling & Simulation Center of Excellence. You will define how confidence in digital twins is evaluated, including model basis, data quality, and processes to maintain trust as systems evolve.

With 10+ years in modeling of simulations and digital engineering, you will apply V&V practices, govern lifecycle assurance, and collaborate with engineering, certification, and R&D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in modeling and simulation or related fields.
• Experience turning technical methods into practical guidance for customers.
• Experience with digital twins and lifecycle assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve digital twin assurance capabilities.
• Apply modeling/simulation methods to evaluate confidence in DTs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define lifecycle requirements.
• Translate technical methods into practical, client-facing guidance.
