Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Sr. Member of Technical Staff focused on Digital & Systems Engineering.

The candidate will research, identify, and implement DE/MBSE approaches for space and defense systems and advise government customers on MBSE methodologies, tools, and practices to optimize system realization. Role involves developing digital twin models, integrating them into MBSE, and authoring guidelines and training materials for customers and Aerospace teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, CS or related field.
• 4+ years in two or more systems engineering areas (e.g., CONOPs, requirements, architecture, design).
• Experience with MBSE modeling languages and tools (SysML, Cameo, Sparx, Rhapsody, GENESYS).

Responsibilities

• Develop descriptive models for space, ground, and launch architectures.
• Create model libraries and templates for reuse across programs.
• Conduct MBSE research studies and independent assessments.
• Advise on MBSE methods, languages, and toolsets.
• Develop DE/MBSE training materials and courses.
• Author technical documentation and training materials on digital twin implementation.
