Job summary

Marathon Petroleum in Denver seeks an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead strategy, roadmap and delivery of digital products for the NG & NGLs Operations Excellence and Insights Product Family. You will partner with Operations, Reliability, Data Analytics and AI teams to transform operational data into actionable insights and predictive maintenance solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in product management or owner roles.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
Product Owner certification preferred.
Experience with industrial data platforms, operational intelligence tools, or predictive maintenance is a plus.
Experience translating business needs into epics, user stories, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Builds and owns digital products across multiple verticals with strong user experience.
Aligns roadmaps, prioritizes releases, and links work to business objectives.
Collaborates with Agile teams, stakeholders, and business reps to resolve issues.
Works with cross-functional teams to align product strategies and plan releases.
Identifies issues, makes trade-offs, and keeps development on track toward commitments.
Writes epics and user stories communicating needs and desired outcomes.
Gathers insights from customers and data to inform product strategy.
