Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of digital print imaging equipment set up, adjustment, and operation.
• Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting quality and timeliness.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and color corrections for customer specs.
• Proficient in file manipulation and file formats for digital print.
• Experience setting up feed rollers, tensioning, and inline finishing per job specs.
• Ability to train junior operators on corrective adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment.
• Program and prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust image position, color quality, and resolution; perforations and folds as needed.
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets, rollers, paper, tabs.
• Maintain inventory levels.
