Job summary

RR Donnelley in United States (Pennsylvania, Upper Macungie Township) is seeking a skilled printing operator to manage high resolution, variable print systems. You will program, prepare and release jobs from the print queue while maintaining logs and manifests to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires advanced knowledge of digital print/inkjet imaging, color theory, file formats, and feed setup. You will also mentor junior operators and ensure quality across production runs.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of digital print/inkjet imaging equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to diagnose and fix operating problems affecting quality and timeliness.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and the ability to adjust color per customer specs.
• Excellent knowledge of file manipulation and formats for digital print.
• Ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing and inline finishing per job specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate high resolution, variable print equipment.
• Program and prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust color quality, image position, perforations and folds on paper.
• Monitor output quality and accuracy.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory levels.
