Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Digital Payments Product Owner to lead digital payment platforms and rails, ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic roadmap alignment. You will act as a subject matter expert, partnering with technology, operations and leadership to deliver member-centered payments solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision making, and delivering incremental features that improve efficiency and member experience across the payments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, IT, Strategy or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading innovative payments solutions and managing business risk.
• Analytical and conceptual skills to create original concepts for projects.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and leaders effectively.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems and databases.
• Experience in developing business or technology strategy.
• Knowledge of project management processes and government/financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch product vision and strategy.
• Oversee and manage payment platforms as SME and point of contact for Digital Payments leadership.
• Translate program vision into incremental delivery.
• Develop partnerships to drive evolution of Digital Payments platforms and address internal and member needs.
• Partner with technology teams to build and maintain product backlog and refine user stories.
• Incorporate usability studies and market analysis into product requirements.
• Analyze product usage and data to inform prioritization and value delivery.
• Present compelling communications to executives and stakeholders.
• Perform related duties as required.
