Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
• 15+ years of relative work experience.
• 8+ years of management experience or lead role in area of expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of Core Banking platforms and banking operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud technologies, OCI, Oracle Integration Cloud, Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Significant experience in Core Banking, Retail Banking, Payments, Lending, or Financial Services tech environments.
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale modernization, migration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, event-driven solutions, and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of software development engineering principles, methodologies (incl. Agile), databases, web tech.
• Expert knowledge of industry best practices and coding standards for performance and scalability.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple functional areas.
• Comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards and changing business environment.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders, vendors and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead team executing the dual-core coexistence and migration strategy across banking platforms.
• Manage stakeholders across business, technology and architecture partner teams.
• Provide executive leave reporting.
• Gain alignment on design, timelines and testing strategy across partner teams.
• Implement coexistence model and data migration/integration strategy for core banking modernization.
• Drive design and development of the full transaction lifecycle across core banking and channels.
• Design integration patterns for dual-core routing using APIs, messaging, events and microservices.
• Oversee cloud core platform management with focus on data processing and reconciliation.
• Develop integration patterns for data egress from core platform to internal/external systems.
• Lead routing pattern engineering for single-core, cross-core and migration scenarios.
• Define engineering controls to ensure atomicity, ordering, idempotency and financial finality across cores.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled software engineering capabilities and automated testing.
• Design AI-driven observability and operational intelligence to detect anomalies and improve resiliency.
• Support development of concepts and enterprise models for modernization program execution at scale.
• Lead strategy and execution of line-of-business software delivery via DevSecOps pipelines.
• Establish and direct business technology software product delivery teams for rapid solutions.
• Evolve mainframe banking core to a modern cloud-native core.
• Establish ubiquitous software engineering capabilities with coaching on best practices and security.
• Drive interface with business translating requirements into deliverable software and ensure alignment with Enterprise Transformation Office.
• Accelerate automated testing and Test-Driven Development within governed quality gates.
• Leverage standardized tool chains for CI/CD/monitoring and end-to-end automation of mission critical systems.
• Facilitate and coach stakeholders in agile practices throughout transformation journey.
• Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, stakeholders and external contacts.
• Provide forward-looking technical expertise in current and emerging technologies and trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
