JOB TITLE: Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Consumer Packaged Goods

LOCATION: New York, Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Team Lead: Ecommerce and Content Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consumer Engagement: Lead the development and execution of full-funnel consumer engagement strategies, driving awareness, consideration, and conversion for the brand. This role requires a deep understanding of integrated marketing, digital media, and consumer behavior to craft campaigns that deliver measurable results across all touchpoints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging across digital, social, e-commerce, retail, and traditional channels. Amazon and Tik Tok Experience highly preferred.
  • Media Planning and Execution: Responsible for all media (owned, earned, paid) planning and execution across digital, social, and other growing platforms. Lead media planning, including upper-funnel awareness campaigns, mid-funnel content, and lower-funnel performance marketing.
  • Content: Partner with creative teams to deliver compelling, consumer-focused content.
  • Performance Marketing: Data and insights driven approach, optimizing effectiveness of media across all platforms. Monitor brand performance metrics and analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of strategies, making adjustments as necessary. Responsible for weekly & monthly performance reports, sharing key insights and recommendations which support business needs.
  • E-Commerce (Amazon and retailer.com): Partner with the innovation and commercial strategy team to innovate on pricing and assortment
  • Align with the internal operations team on demand planning, fulfilment and compliance requests for business
  • Ensure that our brand and product information is optimized for conversion rate, and is inclusive of enhanced brand content creation, product descriptions & imagery
  • Determine marketing programs, execute tailored media placements, constantly optimizing with real time data
  • Use learnings from Amazon to inform and build best practices for our overall ecommerce channels
  • Owned Channels (Website and Social Handles): Partnering with internal teams and managing external agencies for content creation and optimization, improving user experience. Overseeing third party resources/vendors for web development and digital projects, ongoing website maintenance for bug fixes and new development tasks.
  • Agency Management: Leading media (digital, social) and E-commerce agencies.
  • Integrated Marketing Planning and Execution: Collaborating with internal team members and external agencies in a cohesive GTM strategy and execution.
  • Brand stewardship: Working closely with cross-functional teams (sales, product development, customer service) to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the brand's yearly plan that aligns with business objectives, including brand support plans across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Innovation: Collaborate across global and local teams to ensure innovation initiatives meet financial KPIs and profitability guidelines.
  • Market Research: Uncover consumer needs and market trends through research to inform brand strategies. Monitor market trends and consumer insights to refine engagement strategies.
  • P&L Management: Own the brand P&L and performance tracking to reach established targets.
  • Budget Management: Own the budget for marketing activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and tracking of expenses.
  • People Management: Experience managing, coaching and developing direct report/s.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Has 7+ years of consumer goods brand management experience
  • Expertise in full funnel consumer engagement strategy and planning, managing media across all platforms with a strong focus in digital and social.
  • Expertise managing e-commerce platforms including Amazon and retailer.com.
  • Focused on how to make more people aware and talk about our brands, through branded content, media, partnerships, experiences, and influencers.
  • Forward thinking and curious about consumer needs, can innovate with autonomy.
  • Can balance the need to think analytically with creative bravery.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture and embraces ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Nielsen, Numerator, ecommerce providers, advertising platforms, and data management and reporting tools i.e. BlackBird, Acorn-i, Criteo.
  • General manager mindset. A marketer at heart who understands cross-functionally how to drive their business forward.
