Job summary

AmeriCorps members serve in the Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP) to support older adults by teaching digital literacy, building connections, and promoting intergenerational learning. The role emphasizes practical coaching and hands-on help in real-world settings.

As a part-time program, you will contribute to community outreach across New Jersey and nearby locations, while gaining valuable experience in program delivery, teamwork, and volunteer engagement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in education, teaching, or community outreach is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to older adults to build digital skills.
• Lead workshops on tablets, email, video calls, and other tools.
• Support digital literacy in CMAP sites and community settings.
