AmeriCorps program at the Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP) is seeking a part-time member to recruit and support older adult volunteers across schools, hospitals, and nonprofits. You will lead digital literacy efforts, foster intergenerational connections, and promote meaningful community engagement.

The role emphasizes volunteer management, outreach, and partnership-building to reduce social isolation and enhance aging with purpose. Start date is 09/01/2026 and end date 08/30/2027.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) required or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to organize events, train volunteers, and coordinate programs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and support older adults who volunteer with CMAP and partner organizations.
• Focus on volunteer engagement through outreach, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing support.
• Coordinate recognition efforts to celebrate volunteer contributions.
• Build partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and service organizations to identify new opportunities.
• Align opportunities with older adults’ skills and interests to strengthen community connections.
