Job summary

Texas Instruments in Dallas is seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to define, implement, and verify the digital portion of battery gauge mixed-signal SOCs. You will translate system intent into micro-architecture, RTL, and production-ready hardware, partnering with system, analog, verification, and product teams.

The role emphasizes ownership of RTL-to-GDSII, DV, and interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and SPMI, with opportunities to lead design discussions and drive mass production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant digital design experience.
• A thorough understanding of digital logic design.
• Experience with the full digital flow, RTL to GDSII.
• Familiarity with Verilog and digital simulators.
• Prior experience developing digital for embedded controller products (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with system and analog design to define digital micro-architecture specs and implement the RTL.
• Drive the full digital flow from RTL to physical layout (RTL-to-GDSII).
• Partner with Design Verification, Validation, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering to ensure smooth transfer to production.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders to understand design requirements and lead technical discussions.
• Explore opportunities to optimize and evolve architectures over time.
