Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical/quantitative field (healthcare, finance, math, engineering, econ)
• Master's degree preferred
• 4–6+ years of relevant work experience
• 3+ years in managed care/healthcare analytics
• Advanced knowledge of HEDIS and Medicare Stars
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Advanced experience with relational databases (SAS, R, SQL)
• Experience automating processes with Python, VBA, R, SAS or similar
• Experience with statistical software (SAS/R/Stata/Minitab) and data viz (Power BI/Tableau)
• Strong communication and self-starting project delivery ability

Responsibilities

• Implement reporting workflows and document processes
• Conduct medical trend studies related to quality initiatives
• Identify data improvements for HEDIS/QARR/Star reports
• Coordinate with IT and vendors for digital readiness including FHIR
• Engage with data sources like EHRs/HL7/HIEs for ingestion
• Perform data mining and deliver analyses to customers
• Develop advanced statistical analyses for Medicare and other populations
• Maintain automated dashboards and quality profiles
• Support design, development, and maintenance of quality initiatives
• Present findings to internal partners and drive additional analyses
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives
