Job summary

The University of Rochester’s Office of Digital Strategy and Innovation is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional technology initiatives. You will plan, monitor, and deliver medium to large-scale programs that advance patient access, AI, and automation across UR Medicine.

Responsibilities include establishing charters, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement, while mentoring project coordinators and guiding leadership with dashboards and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 5 years of project management experience.
• PMI PMP certification within 1 year is preferred.
• Experience with healthcare or higher education is advantageous.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex, cross-functional technology projects and organizational improvement initiatives.
• Provides consultation and strategic guidance to leaders and project teams.
• Fosters engagement, accountability, and manages barriers and priorities.
• Develops charters, scope management plans, stakeholder plans, and risk artifacts.
• Develops reporting dashboards for leadership and builds cross-functional partnerships.
• Implements change management methodologies to support sustainable improvements.
• Serves as trusted advisor to leaders across departments.
