Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Digital Engineering Manager 3 to lead the Digital Hardware section within the Electrical Engineering and Receiver Exciter Department. The role is based in Linthicum, MD or Morrisville, NC, with occasional visits to Baltimore as needed.

The candidate will supervise 40–100 employees and align department initiatives with strategic goals, while driving disciplined engineering processes across programs and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field plus 4+ years in related tech (radar/electronic warfare or sensor systems).
• Master’s or PhD preferred for advanced roles; DoD experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills; able to manage managers and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead section staff based on organizational goals and policies.
• Develop and maintain Digital Hardware strategy and roadmaps.
• Oversee engineering programs to meet milestones and objectives.
• Support and lead skill development, hiring, and performance reviews.
