Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a qualified engineer for onsite work in Fort Wayne to design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and CCAs. You will handle circuit card designs with processors, FPGAs, and interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.

You will also manage requirements, present technical information to stakeholders, and address root-cause issues to ensure on-time delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a demanding aerospace

Qualifications

• A STEM degree and 5+ years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and CCAs.
• Circuit card design including HW with processors, FPGAs, memory, and interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART).
• Requirements capture management and verification for small to medium electronic packaging cards.
• Prepare and present project technical information to peers and customers.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions for on-time delivery.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout experience; facilitate cross-functional project tasks.
