Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Digital Hardware Engineer on the Avionics team to design, test, and analyze custom high-speed electronics for the Terran R launch vehicle. You will oversee hardware development from concept through flight readiness and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure reliability and schedule.

A strong candidate will have a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 5+ years in harsh-environment electronics, and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in electronics designed for harsh environments and mission-critical applications.
• Experience with high-speed serial interfaces and SoC/microcontroller design.
• Experience with eCAD software such as Altium.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience with board-level design from concept to manufacturing.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (mechanical, thermal, electrical, software).
• Nice to have: embedded software integration experience; reliability/ manufacturability focus.
