Job summary

Arete Incident Response is seeking a seasoned Forensic Lead to oversee digital forensics across diverse environments and engagements. You will guide tiger teams, ensure efficient data collection, and drive investigations from scoping through final reporting.

You will mentor analysts, coordinate with counsel and clients, and align findings with threat intel and SOC inputs to tell the full narrative of intrusions and compromises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field; 8+ years of IR or digital forensics experience.
• Experience leading forensic engagements and tiger teams for complex investigations.
• Strong knowledge of host- and network-based forensics and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Oversees forensic analysis across Windows, macOS, and network devices.
• Leads investigations across multiple tiger teams and client engagements.
• Delivers clear, data-driven findings and narrative of threat actor activity.
• Manages budget, utilization, and senior analyst mentorship.
