Job summary

Tyto Athene, LLC is seeking a Tier 3 Digital Forensics and Incident Response Analyst to lead investigations, triage alerts, and guide complex incidents across client environments.

The role requires expert use of forensic tools (Encase, Wireshark), Python scripting, and strong networking knowledge within a SOC context. Hybrid work with on-site client support; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years in DFIR.
• 8+ years of experience in DFIR roles.
• Strong knowledge of digital forensics tools and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate high-priority cybersecurity incidents.
• Analyze, triage, and investigate security alerts using security tools.
• Coordinate monitoring of client environments, including cloud and SaaS.
• Identify root causes, scope, and impact of incidents via forensic methods.
• Collaborate with threat hunting and threat intel teams.
• Serve as primary contact with law enforcement and external parties.
