Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an experienced Forensics Principal to lead delivery of digital forensics services for law firms and corporate clients. The role includes mentoring junior staff, coordinating across global teams, and driving revenue through new engagements in digital forensics and eDiscovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of hands-on technical and/or computer forensic investigations experience.
• 7+ years of supervising employees.
• 5+ years of direct experience leading, building and maintaining a digital forensics program.
• Experience in conducting digital forensic preservations and examinations on mobile device operating systems using industry-standard forensic tools.
• Proficient in industry-standard forensic and eDiscovery tools (EnCase, FTK, Tableau, X-Ways, Cellebrite, Nuix, Relativity).
• Excellent communication to all levels of engagement and management teams.
• Knowledge of the EDRM and IT systems foundations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to dynamic, multi-task teams with critical deadlines.
• Manage day-to-day US and Mexico Digital Forensics team activities.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives across the Technology practice.
• Oversee data collection, analysis of computer systems, and electronic data sources.
• Prepare affidavits, declarations, and expert witness testimony.
• Develop data collection solutions for complex environments and project-specific needs.
• Assist clients with selecting technology to meet project objectives.
• Manage project close-out, data return, and archival considerations.
• Support business development with client relationships and proposals.
