Jobgether SRL is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst III specialized in Digital Forensics and Incident Response for remote work within the United States. The role supports enterprise cybersecurity operations in a highly regulated federal environment, conducting hands-on investigations and threat analysis to contain and recover from incidents.

You will work with SIEM, NIDS, SOAR, and other tools, influencing security posture, audits, and disaster recovery exercises while mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on incident response and/or digital forensics experience.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001/27002.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and mentor junior staff.
• Experience in federal or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct digital forensic investigations on targeted endpoints using forensic tools.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across the enterprise using SIEM, NIDS, SOAR, and related tools.
• Identify reportable incidents and serve as incident handler throughout response.
• Collect evidence, document findings, and prepare incident reports for management.
• Contribute to audits, drills, and improvements of cybersecurity processes.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals and manage assigned projects.
