Job summary

ITC Federal is seeking a Forensic Analyst I to work remotely with the U.S. Department of Justice. This role involves applying digital forensic principles and providing technical advice while conducting forensic examinations and maintaining compliance with federal standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Digital Forensic Science, relevant experience, and expertise in forensic tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance prior to start.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in forensic collections across devices.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN/MAN network environments.
• Experience preparing affidavits and declarations.

Responsibilities

• Work digital forensics examinations through all phases.
• Conduct partial forensic examinations to develop evidence.
• Provide technical advice to junior analysts.
• Collaborate with forensic analysts and legal experts.
• Comply with laboratory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

Undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or related field

4–7 years current digital forensics experience
