Job summary

Viperion Tech, LLC is seeking a seasoned CI Digital Forensic Examiner in Springfield, VA. The role requires in-depth experience with digital forensics across Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, plus the ability to produce detailed reports and briefings for government leads.

The candidate will deliver weekly status updates and final reports, support CI cyber investigations, and collaborate with Intelligence Community partners to enhance forensics examinations. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CI digital forensics experience.
• DoD 8570 IA requirement: obtain IA III within 12 months.
• Experience with DoD/IC CI investigations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce 48 weekly status reports and 12 final digital forensics reports.
• Perform Digital Media Acquisition and forensic review on Windows/Linux/macOS platforms.
• Investigate suspected computer, mobile device, and network penetrations.
• Ingest media into an archive and use media forensics tools (EnCase, FTK).
• Prepare and present forensic findings and briefings to government leads.
• Coordinate CI Cyber activities and produce weekly reports.
