Job summary

Longeviti LLC is seeking a Computer Specialist – Network and Digital Forensics Examiner in Great Lakes, IL. Active TS clearance eligibility and five+ years of digital forensics experience are required, with proficiency in Cellebrynet UFED4PC/Physical Analyzer, FTK, and/or OSForensics.

Testimony in court may be required in NCIS cases. The role entails performing forensic examinations, documenting artifacts, testing new tools, and providing on-the-job training to staff in a secure government

Qualifications

• Five or more years of digital forensics experience using Cellebrynet UFED4PC/Physical Analyzer.
• Expertise with Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS.
• Understanding of chain of custody and documentation in law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex non-destructive evaluations of target computer systems to determine operating and file systems, ownership, and access methods.
• Provide detailed forensic examinations for NCIS cases.
• Document artifacts and deliverables using NCIS templates.
• Follow NCIS policies and procedures.
• Train government staff as needed.
• Serve as SME and testify in court proceedings.
