Thrivent in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Senior Engineer to serve as a technical expert in web site development within Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Services. You will design, develop and integrate advisor/client-facing website functionality aligned with Thrivent’s technology strategy, collaborating with digital experience and data teams.

You will work on backend services, Sling Models, Servlets and APIs, contribute to CI/CD, code reviews, and release readiness, and stay current with AEM

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering environments, taking abstract concepts and formulating a detailed software engineering plan to deliver.
• 5+ years of experience developing in CMS platforms.
• 2+ years of experience working in AEM cloud environment.
• Sound knowledge of SDLC practices and CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, code reviews, and release management.
• Proficient in systems design for security and stability; debugging complex issues.
• Experience with full stack AEM development and API integrations.

• DevOps: promote CI/CD, support rotation, and assist with incidents and deployments.
• Selecting & Managing Technology Vendors: help criteria and proof-of-concept activities.
• Coaching Engineers: mentor teammates and share domain knowledge.
• Recruiting/Building Talent: engage with tech community to strengthen Thrivent’s technology brand.
