Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Senior Designer, Digital to turn strategy and business goals into thoughtful, high‑impact digital work. Based in San Francisco or New York City, you will design landing pages, campaigns, paid media, lifecycle touchpoints, and other digital assets that balance brand, usability, and performance.

You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Content, Brand, Product and external partners, owning projects from brief through delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-craft digital work with business impact.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Framer.
• Experience creating responsive, interactive web experiences including prototypes.
• Working knowledge of AI tools to support ideation and production efficiency.
• Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and external partners.
• Able to own projects from brief through delivery.
• Bonus: prototypes and interaction examples for clients and dev teams.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality design across websites, campaigns, and brand systems.
• Lead website design from exploration through high-fidelity execution.
• Design responsive experiences with breakpoints, layouts, accessibility, and web integrations.
• Build scalable Figma systems with components and reusable patterns.
• Apply craft across layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and storytelling.
• Translate brand strategy and audience insights into creative solutions.
• Present design decisions and align stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-standard outputs.
• Direct freelancers and agencies with clear briefs and feedback.
• Identify risks and keep projects moving forward.
