Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to design, analyze, simulate, test and integrate digital electronic modules for missile applications based in Tucson, AZ.

The role requires a strong background in circuit card design, processors, FPGAs, memory, and interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART). With at least eight years in electronics design, you will drive from concept to verified hardware, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to production

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in electronics circuit design and multi-assembly systems/units.
• Take a design concept from requirements to full hardware design and verify via test/integration.
• Experience with PCB design processes and schematic capture tools; analyze and simulate before hardware execution.
• Background in multi‑layer circuit card assemblies and applying design constraints.
• Familiarity with software or FPGA development and leading programs from development into production.
• Requirements creation & analysis.
• Parts selection & trade studies.
• Architecture design - block diagrams, etc.
• Schematic capture & layout involvement.
• Lab checkout & hardware integration with test plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test and integrate digital modules and CCAs for missile applications.
• Lead hardware development from concept to production handoff and verification.
• Collaborate in a team environment to ensure robust design and integration.
