Job summary

Insight Global in Tucson, AZ seeks a senior Digital Design Engineer to design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and circuit-card assemblies for missile applications. You will own hardware designs involving processors, FPGAs, memory, and interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.

From requirements or block diagrams, you will drive architecture, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout support, lab testing, integration, and production

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on digital hardware design experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end hardware from concept to production.
• Strong board-level design with multi-layer PCBs and interfaces.
• Experience with PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART.
• Hands-on lab bring-up and test planning.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end digital hardware designs from concept through production.
• Architect, select components, and perform verification.
• Collaborate on schematic capture and PCB layout with engineers.
• Conduct lab testing, fault isolation, and integration.
• Develop test plans and support production transition.
