Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an AVP, Digital Contact Strategy to lead the design and execution of digital collections strategies across emails, texts, and the mobile app. You will apply advanced analytics and predictive modeling to optimize customer engagement across large national portfolios.

The role emphasizes leadership in testing new concepts, governance, and collaboration with Operations, IT, and Strategy Delivery to ensure strategy effectiveness and compliance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of related experience in strategy, analytics or credit risk management.
• 3+ years of experience using data analytics and segmentation platforms (SAS, SQL, Python/R).
• Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Develop collections contact strategies for digital channels (email, text, mobile app) for secured and unsecured portfolios.
• Test and roll out sub-population strategies, build business cases, obtain approvals and ensure reporting.
• Develop new segmentations using advanced analytics, data extraction, and validation.
• Produce data-driven insights to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
• Create performance reporting aligned with forecast and Op Plan.
• Drive automation and process excellence to improve efficiency and outcomes.
