Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an AVP to develop, deliver and manage digital collections strategies across emails, text, and mobile app channels. You will lead analytics projects, test concepts, and measure performance with stakeholders from strategy to execution.

Expect collaboration with Operations, IT, and Compliance to ensure robust controls and reporting. The role requires 3+ years in analytics/credit risk, experience with SAS/SQL/Python, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 7+ years in analytics/credit risk) required.
• 3+ years in analytics or credit risk management.
• 3+ years using analytics and segmentation platforms (SAS, SQL, Python/R).
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop collections contact strategies for digital channels across portfolios.
• Test and rollout strategies; build business cases and obtain approvals.
• Create new segmentations using advanced analytics and validations.
• Generate data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop performance reporting and align with forecast and Op Plan.
• Drive automation and governance to improve efficiency and compliance.
