Ameren in St. Louis seeks a Senior Capital Planning & Governance Specialist to support the capital investment lifecycle for the Digital organization.

You will align budgets, develop and prioritise business cases, validate spending plans, and maintain accurate capital plan data across systems. Key responsibilities include guiding leaders through demand processes, preparing materials for project approvals, creating presentations, and supporting rate reviews, audits, and regulatory matters related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Five or more years of relevant professional experience required (e.g. accounting, financial reporting, analysis or modeling, and business planning). IT/technology and financial planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide capital investments of approximately $1B over the next five years.
• Collaborate with Digital Leaders on capital governance, planning, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Prepare reports, ad-hoc analyses, and user materials for project approvals and regulatory matters.
• Lead presentations communicating capital plans and insights with stakeholders.
