Job summary

Melaleuca, Global Headquarters in Idaho Falls, ID, is advancing its Digital Asset Management initiative. As Senior Digital Asset Management Librarian you will oversee hundreds of thousands of assets—photos, design files, marketing collateral, videos, and brand documents—and ensure scalable access across global markets.

You will drive adoption of the new DAM system, manage metadata and taxonomy, lead migrations, train teams across time zones, and partner with IT, marketing, and external vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in library science, information science, or related field.
• Experience in digital asset management or similar role.
• Experience in taxonomy development and metadata management.
• Familiarity with creative operations, marketing or publication management.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent project management skills with multiple priorities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with complex hierarchical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a vast library of assets including photography, design files, marketing collateral, video content, and documentation.
• Ensure seamless access to assets across global markets and cross-functional teams.
• Lead the adoption of the new DAM system and establish best practices and workflows.
• Administer user licensing, roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Maintain taxonomy and metadata schemas to support multi-market needs.
• Lead asset migrations, bulk uploads, and metadata normalization.
• Train and support global teams on DAM usage and best practices.
• Collaborate with creative, brand, and IT teams; monitor asset rights and licensing.
• Audit assets for relevance, compliance, and branding accuracy.
• Coordinate with DAM vendor for issues, updates, and feature requests.
