World Wide Technology is seeking a Lead Digital Architect within WWT Digital to govern solution architecture across multiple teams. You will balance hands-on design with strategic advisory, shaping patterns and standards that scale across programs.

The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud deployment, and AI‑informed coding practices, with a strong track record in client‑facing leadership and technical mentorship. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of software engineering experience with architecture leadership.
• Client-facing consulting experience with executive stakeholders.
• Experience deploying native applications in major cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern solution architecture across multi‑team efforts for scalability and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Architects and Technical Leads.
• Collaborate with strategists, creatives, and researchers to form digital evolution strategies and assess feasibility.
• Research and drive complex technical solutions across stacks from prototyping to production.
• Conduct technology reviews, assessments, and dependency mapping for modernization paths.
• Develop prototypes and architectural proposals for client pitches and drive them to completion.
• Communicate architectural decisions to engineers and C‑level stakeholders.
• Establish architectural standards across teams for consistency and quality.
• Identify systemic risks and drive cross‑program resolution with delivery leads.
• Support reusable architectural frameworks and reference architectures across the practice.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and tools with recommendations.
• Mentor Architects and Digital Technologists within the team.
• Lead technical requirements definition for complex programs across delivery teams.
