Job summary

Maxwood Furniture is seeking a Senior Digital Analyst to own how we measure our online business across four Shopify storefronts. This role builds the measurement foundation, leads weekly insights meetings, and sets the standard for testing and interpreting results.

You'll collaborate with merchandising, UX, CRM, advertising, BI, and IT, reporting to the VP of Digital Commerce & Experience, and you will bring rigor and ownership to a ground-up analytics function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in digital or web analytics with growing ownership of measurement
• Hands-on GA4 and Google Tag Manager implementation depth
• Experience owning an experimentation program from hypothesis through read-out
• Comfort with SQL and working directly in a data warehouse
• Experience with Shopify or a comparable ecommerce platform
• A track record of presenting analysis to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Build and own the weekly digital insights readout
• Own GA4 property architecture, Google Tag Manager, data layer, and event taxonomy
• Own conversion tracking accuracy across ads and platforms
• Define and maintain the shared definition set for consistent numbers
• Design experiments end to end with hypothesis, sample size, run length, significance
• Maintain a library of tests, results, and learnings
• Build validation and alerting for tracking issues
• Instrument new brand and category launches from day one
• Report on site speed and Core Web Vitals and translate performance into business impact
• Partner with BI on customer, cohort, and lifetime value analysis
• Partner with Advertising on paid measurement and media attribution
• Collaborate with Data Engineering during ERP implementation
