Job summary
Texas A&M University is seeking a Digital Accessibility Policy Analyst IV to act as a subject-matter expert and strategic advisor on digital accessibility across the organization. You will lead policy development, governance, and compliance initiatives, partnering with IT, UX, procurement, and legal to embed accessibility into enterprise technology.
The role requires interpreting 508/ADA/WCAG regulations, guiding remediation, and mentoring junior analysts while contributing to long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Eight years of information technology support experience.
- IAAP or other industry certifications preferred.
- Solid understanding of WCAG, Section 508, ADA, and ARIA.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and governance of accessibility policies and standards.
- Conduct manual/automated accessibility assessments and remediate findings.
- Develop training and guidance on accessibility best practices.
- Interpret regulations and translate into organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, UX, procurement, legal, and leadership.
