Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Equipment Engineering Manager to build and lead a world-class team in a TD + HVM environment, scaling in Micron's newest Memory Fab in the United States.

You will optimize manufacturing performance, recruit and develop engineers, and partner with Technology Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, and external suppliers to achieve world-class results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of semiconductor equipment leadership and team management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-related field.
• Coaching and mentoring team members to support career development.
• Proven success leading teams and solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team to improve equipment performance and install new tools for a new fab.
• Develop the team's strategic direction and allocate resources effectively.
• Drive fabrication optimization to maximize output and yield while controlling costs.
• Support tool installations, modifications, relocations, removals with global best practices.
• Champion safety, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Understand or learn Agentic AI to improve workflow efficiency.
